Crystal was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She pursued a diverse academic path, studying psychology and business administration at the University of Alabama before earning her master’s degree in business administration from Emory University. With a multifaceted background, Crystal has navigated roles as a banker, consultant, and software project manager, each experience shaping her professional journey and outlook on life.
In 2019, Crystal began a transformative endeavor: writing her memoir, "Choosing to Live When Told to D.I.E." This unexpected venture unlocked a passion for storytelling and advocacy. Through her memoir, Crystal shares her insights and resilience, inspiring readers to confront adversity with courage and hope.
Crystal's focus extends beyond writing. She is committed to catalyzing positive change in women's healthcare, driven by her personal experiences and a vision for better health outcomes for women. Crystal aspires to leave a lasting legacy of advocacy for women's health issues.
Currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, Crystal finds joy in her roles as a wife and mother to two children. She enjoys moments with her family, reading, baking, running, and watching movies.
